Bellavita Expo London
Bellavita Expo, Italy’s leading B2B food and beverage trade show, made a stop in the eclectic city of London from 17 to 19 June. Monograno Felicetti took part in the event with a view to engaging in a constructive exchange with other companies and professionals in its industry on the latest trends in Italian food and beverage in the United Kingdom.
Our attendance at the three-day show was supported by Steve Caruso, sous chef at Condividere, a new gourmet restaurant in Turin whose concept and menu have been designed by Ferran Adrià. The young Italo-American chef interpreted the mood of the event with his Linguine Pancake Style, inspired by the world-famous English breakfast, in which spelt pasta became an unusual and tasty base for maple syrup and blueberry jam. For his second recipe, instead, he opted for a more classic Italian dish, which he named Mezze Maniche 5 O’Clock, in which Il Cappelli Mezze Maniche were served with salmon and smoked Lapsang Souchong black tea.
On Monday 18th, Chef Carlo Cracco presented a recipe with Kamut® Khorasan Rigatoni: a veritable tribute to the versatility of pasta. Aperitivo Bellavita, a delightful event organised in collaboration with ITA-Italian Trade Agency, also took place on Monday and was attended by 100 carefully selected buyers.
